COMMUNITY SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES MCRC provides opportunities for individuals to meet their community service requirements.  We work with the Manchester Academy Program, Probation and Parole, and the Alternative Work Experience Program (AWEP) through NHEP.  Contact MCRC directly or apply through your case manager.

Employment:

FT Lead Instructor Position...Work With Diverse Populations!

Dynamic, creative, and flexible professional instructor needed to work FT for small nonprofit agency teaching job readiness skills to adults with language and cultural barriers. This is a challenging and interesting position involving some classroom-based instruction at the center and also accompanying small groups of students to various worksites to facilitate work simulation activities. Other duties include:
o       Developing/maintaining relationships with referring agencies; employer partners; center staff; and area resource organizations.
o       Tracking, record-keeping, and report generation.
o       Working as an effective team member of the center.
o       Developing and modifying curricula/lesson plans.
o       Effectively following the state-contracted program guidelines.
 
FT position w/benefits. Daytime Hours.
 
Qualifications
Required:
o       Work experience or formal education/training in employment services, adult education, or social/human services.
o       Good computer skills.
o       Knowledge of local resources and providers.
o       Dependability and reliability.
o       Valid NH Driver’s License and insured vehicle.
o       Interest in helping refugees, immigrants, and people with language/cultural barriers. 
Preferred:
o       College Degree.
o       Program management/coordination experience.
o       Experience working with diverse populations or with people who have language barriers.
o       Knowledge of the local workforce development system.
